I'm a new member and not sure if this is where i should post this.I'm trying to find someone who could tell me about death.My mom has been diagnoised with stage 4 cancer and I don't know how long she has lefted.I actually found out today.I always believed in psychics and hope there is something that can be done for my mom. thank you

        I am so sorry for your sad news today.  Awwww... Here's a BIG heart felt (((HUG)))  
I don't think anyone is going to be able to create a Miracle for your Mother.  I am sorry.
I am sure you are feeling shocked and I suspect MOM is one tough cookie... silently enduring
her illness for a long time, stoicly not sharing her pain or fears with anyone.  Now you get a
chance to be there for her.  
     
            There is a bonus to getting advance notice that your MOM is "going home."  Honest.
Be grateful that you have this, many do not get this opportunity as their loved ones pass on
unexpectedly.  What you can do for your Mom  is take this journey with her, walk her towards her
transition, bravely and openly honoring that  all will take this trip, one day.  You have an
opportunity to hold her hand, as she did when you were a child and she walked YOU across the
street.

         Honor her life, bring her all the photo albums and sit with her while she recalls her life.
Bring a tape recorder... or a video camera.  Take her for a trip to old neighborhoods and
favorite places and enjoy all  her stories, delighting in the new ones that come up for her.
Is there something she always wanted to do, but never took the time?  

         Listen to her when she wants to talk about dying... instead of trying to change the subject
because it is so uncomfortable for you.  Believe her when she says she has visitors from
the other side, even if the Doctors/nurses say it is just the medicine.  Ask the Hospital for a cot so
you can camp in her room and be there when she goes to sleep and again when she wakes up.
Sit beside her and sing with her, in a loud booming voice, her favorite songs.  The other people in
the hospital will forgive you.

       I am not saying this will be all easy for you, It won't. You will have emotions like never before...
but you will also have an incredible and lasting gift that comes from being there for your Mom. She will
say something special to indicate that she is always going to be with you.

Blessings to you on this difficult journey... May you have Peace in your heart and feel  love surrounding
you and your family when the angels come to escort your Dear Mother Home.

Firstly,thanks Evie That is the best advice that can be given.

Mtthwoh. My father crossed over in Nov06, he was a tall powerful soul with fire in his eyes and pureity in his heart.
He comes and vists me regularly. I miss his physical presence but i love the fact he is still here for guidance and support.
I did the same thing as what Evie has offered to you.
It is the greatest gift you will ever give your mother and one that is the very messure of her worth to your own journey.
It is my honest belief from the things i have seen since my early child hood that there is more to us than life and death.
I know it sucks big time to see such a amazing lady waste before your eyes especialy the last 4 years as the fight to stay got worse. Now its time for you to step up and do what you do well. No one can hug your mother into a state of peace like you can.
You will see her after she crosses and know when she comes to vist you.
One other sugestion is to make sure you have your own support base as well.
We forget how everything goes on hold in our lives when this happens and the little things that normaly you dont think about like bills, milk, cat etc are put into second place.

May you feel at home quickly.  
I am glad you found us.  Death touches everyone, but no one really wants to talk about it.
Please consider this a safe place to share your concerns... there are many VERY nice people
here. Lots of huggers.  Like Psychic Chef and myself, others have taken this journey with a
loved one.     Some are doing it now, you are not alone.

Thank you both for your kind words I know my mom is going to a better place,I just don't want her to be scared.When my grandma died I heard her screams she kept saying "I don't want to go" over and over and I don't want my mom to be scared like that. My mom will talk about death up to a certain point then I think it gets uncomfortable for her.I did look up near death exp. but I thought I could get more information here.I just don't want to give her the wrong answers.In my heart I know shes going to cross over fine but if I could help ease her fears I will.
