Perhaps seeing life (and death) as an adventure would help.  If possible, ask mom what she would like to find in her version of heaven.  Does she believe she will see loved ones again?  Perhaps encourage her that they go before to help prepare a place for her.  

And always encourage her to go to the light...it is a welcome...nothing to fear.  In the light is all that is new and wonderful.  Seek that adventure.

Thank you for answering, I will tell her about the light when she is ready to hear it.I think right now shes in denial.She's more worried about us and does not want to see anyone cry.Thats very hard not to do but we are all trying not to.Thank you for caring enough to answer and god bless you.

When the time is right for her, gently lead her into some talk of her ideas of an afterlife, passed loved ones, and the light.  It will only be in her time of course.  You are wonderful to get the most of her life by being there and it will always help you to know you did your best.
