I posted in the Magick section too, but I thought I would post here. Anyways, I have just become a bit interested it this mystical stuff and I want to try something. I haven't had anything weird happen to me... I just love this stuff and have always thought it to be fake BS. Anyways, I still dont know about the psychic stuff, so I wanna try something that will impress me. I literally know nothing about it. From reading some threads, it seems like the first thing people do is find the name of there "guardian"? Anyways, any info with something I can try would be sweet. And as an introduction for me, i really dont know alot about this stuff, but I'm really into music and philosophy. thanks!

The tool for psychic/mediumship abilities is meditation.  The instrument is your own body, mind, spirit.  Use all things with proper (spiritual) intent and they will manifest as such - law of attraction.

So what do I start with?

Spiritualize yourself!  Begin with rituals every morning of affirmation and setting the intent for a positive day.  In this way, you will be training the mind to a positive approach.  (This is so important...the above message is a bit frivolous and you could do with some work on your positive approach to life).

When you truly wish to open to psychic abilities the tool is meditation.  (Under my blog is some information on Tools of your own consciousness - read it for some hints to open and develop).
