Who pray tell is wishing me a happy birthday? My birthday is Sunday and while I was on the phone with a friend earlier, I was checking on my garden, my tomatoes and being greeted by my flutterby's (my familiars) who are very appreciative because I make my garden a nice place for butterflies and especially bee's to breed, relax, sun themselves and hang out.

I have turned this soil many times, weeded, I know every inch of the earth and something caught my eye. It was sparkly and I bent over and it is a flat, silver birthday cake with candles on it. Something you would wear as a pendant on a chain. I suspect it is birthday wishes but the question is from whom? Any ideas?

Hmmm ...why shall I always be the destroyer of fun

I think there are a good friend of you that know your interest for the supernatural and at the same time know how fond you are to keep your "garden" well in shape.
I think he/she has slipped it into the soil when they last was on visit, and that they was sure you would find it before your Birthday

Else it might have been a crow that want to give thx for good care

Although that would be fun no one would take the risk and put something like that in the soil on the slim chance that I would find it. Where I live nobody would leave something of value or importance outside. Only a select few of my friends are aware of my extra curricular interests because most of them don't believe in it, none of which would play games, and my family doesn't live here.

1. too many plants for it to get lost in - it's intent is for butterflies, to help propagate the bee's, beauty and of course veggies cause I love them. No one likes the bee's except for me, so they stay out of the garden to avoid getting stung. Sometimes I do too if there are some ornery ones hanging around.
2. too many passerby's where it would catch someone else's eye than the person intended for and be taken, never to be seen or acknowledged by me
3. after the rains we've had recently it would be lost forever.
4. it was at the end of the property where I would least likely look - I just happened to at that particular moment because I tend to pace when I am on the phone, get fidgety and weed or clean while chit chatting.

If I thought someone had planted it there, I wouldn't have posted this. Thank you for your theory though ::big hugs for the grandpa!::

Dear Angelique,

This is the 'resident' cynic and realist of this forum speaking ;-)

Why focus on the negative and diminuitive!

The IMPORTANT thing, as I see it, is that against whatever odds there were, you found it! In quite a timely manner. Can you accept that Whoever made the person (who put it there) Was perhaps certain that you would be ABLE to find it and be thrilled at finding it!

The LORD moves in mysterious ways (I had to say that ;->)!

Hi RR,

It wasn't a negative or diminutive response. It was merely a response based on facts. Although I accept it for what it is, and I am quite pleased with my finding the coincidence was uncanny. If you lived here you would understand why it isn't from any of my friends, or family and the chances of me ever finding it are slim to none if someone were to put it there. It would be like me walking through the Serengeti and finding it there. Which gave me pause to wonder who left it for me to find. I see nothing wrong with asking or hoping, it springs eternal... I'll chalk it up as it was just there, maybe it was always there and worked its way up through the soil or someone lost it and I happened to find it.

Lastly I agree, the Lord does move in mysterious ways.. I know that first hand

Thank you for your response

Angelique
