I found this thread very interesting and I thought I undesrtand your explanation of these records but after reading all the pages I still have some doubts about things that I probably didn't understand well so if you could solve them I would be very grateful.

Since what I have understood, these records provide exact information about our past, and explanations of what things happened to us and why we did the things we did, it also gives exact information about how are we now after having been through these experiences and according to the information given by our past and our present they show the most posible futures for us. The part that I don't get exactly how it works is the part of the advice and that knowing some things of out past for sure helps to forget or forgive another persons. It could be because I still have my pesimism outburst once in a while by I think if I know some things about my past for sure I could blame myself for them and it could depress me more than helping me, I don't how it works the forgiving thing either.

Just some thoughts...from what I have read and understood Akashic Records are the heavenly or etheral books kept in heaven on every human born into the earthly realm revealing past, present and future appointed events. I was listening to the radio program Coast to Coast am with speaker George Noory who has highly unusual gifted guest speakers and there was a man who claims that there are actually 5 copies of the askasic records located upon the earth in hard to get to places like islands, etc.  The akashic records reveal the next appointed event scheduled in your life story as well as your reactions emotionally and spiritually to the event some good and some not so good. We are spiritual beings having a human experience here on earth. Every bad hurt event we are scheduled to walk through brings with it a brilliant gift...such as spiritual awakenings and spiritual transformations. I have a musician friend Andy and his wife divorced him after 10 years and then was abducted from a store and killed. The emotional pain of this soft hearted musician was very intense over this event. As he worked through his pain he recorded a brilliant song played on the radio every Christmas much requested song, "All I Want For Christmas is You." Andy never remarried and we had crossed paths all of our lives and recently met again at his concert in March. We finally had a date at Starbucks and he had developed spiritual gifts of discernment and supernatural knowledge of known events that had taken place in my life. The price and cost of beautiful gifts sometimes is a tragic life story. Most of your country singers are people who have lived most tragic lives and were gifted to sing about it with such moving feelings that we all can share. Edgar Cayce said the akashic records can sometimes be accessed while in a deep spiritual trance. He was known as The Sleeping Prophet and had special healing gifts. Your future events can be accessed by spiritually gifted souls.

The wise men came together in councel to decide where they should hide man's divinity.  It was suggested they hide it deep in the sea.  They realized, in his infinite curiosity, man would seek there.  It was suggested they place it atop the highest mountain.  But, again, in his infinite curiosity, man would seek it there.  Finally, the oldest and wisest suggested:  I know a place!  He will never think to seek it there - let's hide it in his own heart.

This whole idea of records of our lives is so involved with seeking our own destiny (of which there is much literature to say we have charge of this aspect of human endeavour) it loses sight of guidance from spirit realms - God and His ministering angels.

This is a very interesting discussion ,in Hindu mythology it is said that when a soul completes it's journey and passed over to the other side there is Chitragupta who keep all the records  of that soul's KARMA on this earth  but only of that particular life .  i have read some books on past life experience but dont know where can i get the information about my akashik records . I think if we can get the knowledge of our Akashik records we can improve our life by not repeating the mistakes we have done in our previous lives.               Mango mom has bundles of knowledge on this subject .                   Please Mangomom  can you help me with my Akashik records  may be it will give a purpose to my otherwise miserable life

  Your life may be on what is known as a "divine delay" hold button. I am currently on one myself with many questions. When a soul is held on delay for a number of years seemingly as if nothing at all is happening..it points to something big scheduled to finally happen. The longer you have to wait for your good the bigger it is when if finally does come into your life. Sounds like you are in a major transition for the purpose of a large happening event coming. Follow your heart and exactly where it is leading. Not what you think you can have but what you truly desire to do that burning desire that consumes you. I believe desire substance is placed within our hearts and we are expected to follow this desire to see where it leads. For when you find that special thing that you feel so strongly about that you would die for it, then it is said you have found your true purpose in life. Look back over your life events so far they should have brought a clue as to what you are here to do upon this earthly plane. Don't worry about what others think about your genuine interest in life and desire just follow it, its your dream you pursue it.  Singer Alan Jackson had to wait until he was forty years old for his dream as a country singer of fame and fortune getting to sing his special songs of the heart. He just kept after his dream doing everything he could see to do until it finally did happen for him and being turned down 5 times nearly caused him to stop pursuing his dream. Also your dreams at night should point to the divine direction. Whatever you are motivated to do naturally should be a clue. What would be your reaction if a child suddenly dropped a piece of chocolate cake all over the floor? Would you quickly instruct someone to get a broom and dustpan? This is a take charge leader who points the way. Would you be upset and blame the child for his carelessness? You are a teacher who nitpicks. What motivates you to do what you do in life? When you get into a crowd of people what do you notice about them first? I encountered a man at a theater who suddenly had a granmol seizure and was dying upon the floor. I saw that this was something so unnatural and freaky I wanted it to get off of him. I felt led to get down upon the floor with this man and take authority over what was attacking his human body. I said a prayer while touching his forehead he was jerking and swallowing his tongue it was severe and intense. As I prayed some entity spirit controlling the man began to make a growling sound then after 2 minutes whatever was possessing him and controlling him ceased its hold upon him and broke off. He became very still and suddenly his eyes popped open and he looked at me. He was fine again. He came back into the theater the next week and thanked me and told me that it felt like everything went black at one point and something completely took over his body in which he had no control. Interestingly the manager claimed in the exact same spot a year ago another woman had a seizure and actually did die. It sounds like a powerful purpose in life but I believe that it is part of mine. Its a freaky job but somebody has to be there to do it or someone special might die before their time. Also when I see someone in a wheelchair I break down and cry and want to just touch them and heal them forever so they can get up and run and play. My right hand burns when I pray for someone and I have a supernatural healing gift in this hand unless it is the appointed time for them to crossover. Everything happens by divine appointment and everything happens for a reason to take you to the next step on your journey in life. I sense strongly that you have spiritual guides and helpers all around you trying to reveal something important to you they want you to get real still and quiet so they can talk to you about your life purpose through penetrating thoughts coming into your mind. For a thought is a thing with wings we are all radio receivers picking up signals daily good signals, bad signals and alot of static inbetween stations that have not been finely tuned to "hear".
