My friend Tammy (born 9/21/68) was in a very bad state while trying to detox from alot of medicines that she had been on for years.  She was also an alcoholic.  I had not seen her in some time but her family did and it seemed that she was reaching out to everyone to help her.  She told her boyfriend, when he left last Saturday morning for work, that she would probably be dead when he got back.  There was a gun in the house.  She had been emotionally draining to him, it seems.  Her son, who I am very close with, had a little argument with her, left to go to his friend's house, and came back to find his mother lying on the floor dead of a shotgun wound to her entire face.  There was a short suicide note stating that she blamed her family.

This is not something that she would have ever done to her son.  He is only 14 years old.  He was about to graduate 8th grade and she was going to have a party for him.  His birthday is coming up too.

The family questions whether she did this to herself or not.  She claimed that people were after her, since she turned a drug dealer in some time ago.  Her sister is desparately seeking an answer.

If you would like to see a picture of her, I will post her niece's MySpace page so that you can look at her to get more of a feeling.  She was a beautiful girl, but a very tortured soul.

Thank you so much.

With a shotgun you have to wonder how it could be used to turn on yourself.  Someone was there when it happened and she did not do it to herself.

There is a lot of confusion with this soul.  While she was trying to get 'clean' she was also struggling with a lot of emotions as well as physical pain.

Some sort of understanding in her family will help her to settle down from this turmoil.  Her family is not to blame...they did all that was humanly possible and then some in this situation.  She Just needed to find her own way at that time.  And she ran out of time.
Thanks so much

Spirit . . . I am actually surprised by your answer.  I thought I asked a stupid question.  So much points to suicide.  She begged her boyfriend not to leave that morning and said something about being dead when he got home or not making it through the day.  Someone went by their house and saw a few cars there that aren't normally there on Saturdays when this person rides by the house.  She was a little bit of a vain person so it's hard to believe that she would shoot herself in the face.  It's actually under investigation.  I don't know what would make me feel better . . . to know that she did this to herself, which would be so out-of-character or that someone else did it and took her away from her little guy who she loved so much.

Thank you everyone for looking.  A family member called The Montel Williams Show today and it looks like they will be going on the show to see what Sylvia Browne can come up with.  The State Police are still doing an investigation.  One of the posters here sent me a private message giving me a reading about Tammy and said that she started out with the intent of killing herself but then thought of her son but somehow, the gun went off accidentally, causing her death.

I've been getting lots of signs from her - mostly through music.  Yesterday, I heard a song by the Beastie Boys - Intergalactic.  I don't usually listen to the radio and especially not a song that isn't coming in clear but for some reason, I continued to listen and think of Tammy.  Then I thought I heard "Tammy" as part of the song.  I looked up the words when I got to work and sure enough, the song has "Tammy" in it.  Not only that, but it has a reference to "Ooh Child" by the 5th Dimension.  The family asked me to burn a cd to be played at the funeral home of some of Tammy's favorite songs and that was one of the songs.

Also, on the night that she passed away, the Maroon 5 song "Makes Me Wonder" got stuck on my radio screen . . . I don't even think the song played, but no matter what station was on, it stayed there.  I looked up the words and one line says "So this is goodbye."

If you still want to respond, I would appreciate it.  If you want to see a picture of her, I'll show one to you.   Something else that was weird was a few weeks before she passed away, her son put a picture of her laying on a roof sun tanning, on his MySpace.  When I first saw it, I thought it was a picture of a murder scene.  I didn't know it was her.  Her sister didn't like that picture either.  Maybe she was "dead" way back in April when the picture was taken???   Also, a relative had a dream on the Thursday night before Tammy passed away, after speaking with Tammy, that she would be shot.

Thanks everyone!

Hi Brenda,

I  get that it  was  accidental, like she never ment it to  go this  far, but it  did. I am  so  sorry  for your loss. I would love to see a pic of her if you can  do that. Its going to be  a difficult time  for her  family, and her  friends.  A long time of healing. Many  blessings to you... elle
