can u plz tell me whether im psychic. a fellow psychic told my friend who in turn told me he dont like me as i drain his energy and im a powerful psychic. The thing is i have no gifts. i did when i was younger though. ive tried asking 4 my spirit guide but nothing has happened. why is this? i am willing to learn.

When we are first open to the psychic and not yet protecting and grounding, we can disrupt the energies of other, sensitive people.  That can be true!  But it is not something to discuss with a 3rd party - that is unethical and does not make for a reliable reader and/or councellor.

Taking charge of your gifts is a must!  Using tools of your own consciousness (see my blog on this) can help you open and focus your energies for good.  You must be aware you have some energies - take charge and use them to effect.

Hi MC:  Because someone said something, that doesn't make it true.  If you were a 'powerful psychic' don't you think you would know?
It sounds like your 'fellow psychic' was trying to impress your friend at your expense.

Besides, you don't dislike energy vampires, you avoid them!

Watch gauging your abilities by what you remember as a child, they are the memorys of a child!  Remember when it was magic when the refrigerator light was no every time you opened the door?
It sounds like your group of friends has learned the vocabulary and now everyting is psychic.

Please don't get upset with yourself darling, I was told the same thing and have the same problem.

But something you must know, is that everyone is Psychic, those who claim to be special are actually not, everyone is.
The connections we have with psionic energies, of course, come in varying degrees.

The so called spirit guide is actually, or more to the point, your HIGHER SELF.

Follow these easy to do instructions, but do not get upset if this does not work, it  does not mean you can't, just events in our lives can block psionic energy; which is mainly stress/depression.

First we need to start with Pacification of Emotion Medication. (A form of ZEN)

~Sit comfortably on the floor, or your favourite chair, with your back straight. (This is essential for breathing)
~Make sure there is nothing to take your attention, so it is best to find a quiet place.
~Light candles if you wish, this is not necessary, but it can help to focus your mind.
~Sandlewood Incense is perfect  for this, due to the aromas. (Lavender is another)

~Close your eyes
~Breathe in deeply three times, holding for at least 3 to 7 seconds each inhale.
~Allow for thoughts to enter your mind, the objective is to simply FOCUS on your breathing.
~Maintain for 15 to 35 minutes, till your breathing becomes abdominal.

This is all you do for 1 to 2 weeks, Once or Twice a day.

To contact your Higher Self, is to simply ask for it, in your mind or out loud it doesn't matter.

~Repeat the above PEM.
~Imagine your favourite place, this is important for comfortability and the best place to meet yourself (Higher Self)

~Imagine a mirror or other reflective surface, clear stream maybe

(Please bare in mind, that it does not matter what place you see. As long as it is gives you peace  of mind allowing you to FOCUS your Inner Mind.)

~Ask yourself to see your "Higher Self", to help! Be polite! (remember you are talking to yourself, not some spirit, that is thwart with danger unmeasurable).

~Imagine seeing your reflection.
~Ask if this is your Higher Self. (Answers quite often occur as nods up and down, for yes; Side to side for know.)

~If successful, ask your Higher Self if he/she can assist you anytime...be polite.

If successful, bare in mind it  may not be, you will find that if you ask your Higher Self a question, your own physical head will move to each question.
