I was informed that I would never reach past the 4th level.  Whenever I have looked up information in regards to this...it changes and depends on what religion is informing you.

Would anyone know what I am referring to and how this affects me on a spiritual plane or if this is a falsehood?

The afterlife consists of 7 spheres of existence.  Would that be what you are describing?  If so, I have some information on that level 4.

Most people exist and live on levels 3 to 4. As a person evolves and learns more spiritually and becomes more sensitve to energies the levels expand. For instance learning reiki might take you up to level 6 or 7, working as a healer maybe level 8 and so on up to level 13+ which may take many lifetimes.

I have a question: How would one know how many levels someone has the potential of achieving? And... why if there are multiple levels beyond 4 would someone put a kabash on the idea that particular person will never get any further? In this case, flame haired one was told you will go no further... I guess my point is it's like telling a kid who does poorly in school he is too stupid and will never amount to anything. If he believes it, then he is predestined to fail because he's made up his mind "yes, I am too stupid to learn." Unless he makes a decision that "you know what.. I have a learning disability but if I apply myself and work harder than I currently am I will amount to something." It puts a limit on something that I don't believe exists.

I totally agree with you Angelique  I  did wonder what Flame Haired One was told, how, where, by whom, and why too. I would like to think that anyone that uses 'the levels' would also have the wisdom to discuss them wisely and not possibly worry and scare others development in such a crass way. It might just be a matter of perspective, or perhaps a threat to chide a person to try harder or concentrate more? Or perhaps there is a personal or karmic block that stems from inside and has to be overcome before developing further? Hopefully Flame Haired One will come back and tell us
