Does one's ability disappear from non-use?, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

Just a question...

If as a child, you were able to tell who was on the phone calling, before it was picked up (an example) and had parents who did not believe in any type of 'events'. If you submerge your IDK if I would call them abilities...but, 'knowing' for a long period of time...

Can they be re-awakened again and strengthened in any way? What if you don't know what is entirely within you - just have vague notions? I live in an area where there is not a lot of help in this arena.

You can relearn. the first thing that came to mind is "do you ever forget how to ride a bike?" the answer is no but you do need to learn how to rebalance. MB is a great place for you to relearn what you already know. It is only away from your conscious understanding and not from your soul. Meditation and reprogramming is the key.

Hi Flame, welcome to Mystic Board.

Children do seem to have more experiences and then something might happen to make them close them down and abrubtly ignore them until they go away. Now , like you, the interest is reawakened and can be easily turned back on by learning

Seniors have a favorite saying...use it or lose it! lol This can be seen to be true on all aspects of our being...body, mind, spirit.

All babies remember the source of their being, from whence they came. It is often programmed out of them by the age of 9-11 because of peer pressure to conform to the material norm. It is never lost, just receded and dulled into the back of your life experience. It can and will re-awaken in later years and it helps if the interest opens and reading and/or experiences are gained to help the process.

I have started basic meditation and some visualization. Does anyone know of any more techniques to jumpstart or courses that could be taken online?
