What is the difference between a psychic and a tarot reader ?

Very interesting question  What do you think is the difference?

For me they are totally different but sometimes difficult to separate. I am a psychic tarot reader lol. But not all tarot readers realise they are psychic although many do once they have learned the tarot. The tarot is a tool, it can help to enhance our spiritual, psychic and intuitive abilities and talents and gifts. Once someone has allowed themselves to be open to tarot reading and the world of possibilities that it opens up, they are then very much more likely to start opening to other forms of the mystic world.

A psychic reading is usually done without any tools, crystal balls, cards, crystals, pendulums or anything. The reading comes from within when the psychic reader 'tunes in' to the seeker and then gives a message with or without help from their guides or the spirit world.



p.s. on a lighter note....
Some tarot readers are well known for wearing large hooped earrings and scarves too, whereas I don't think that psychics have any particular dress code?

The tarot is a tool.  The tool of the psychic is your own body, mind, spirit.  So when you combine your tool with the tool of the reading (tarot) you are working with both.  It can be done either way.

Many tarot readers strongly deny they are psychic.

Many think we are all psychic.

Many seem to see being psychic as something totally different.

Anyone can read tarot cards once they have learnt them. But from my experience of teaching the tarot, a fair proportion of the students develop wonderful psychic skills once they have opened up to using cards and start to believe that there is 'something else'.........

And the reading can gain the depth of the psychic/sensitivities to add to its message.
