I was told to do a home space clearing on my house with sea salt does anyone know if this is correct I was told to do it with sea salt put in all corners of the house and also put in the perimeter of the house outside please let me know if this is correct I also put a clear glass with water in certain rooms last night and was told if alot of bubbles float to the top that means there is alot of negativity in there and there was this morning I took the water and flushed it down the toilet. Please let me know if the space clearing is correct as we are trying to sell this home I have already decluttered the home please advise.

Yes the use of salt is one way but many dont use it as they also feel it can trap negativity or bad energy in.  The most well used form is smudging.  If you get some sage and burn that and let the smoke lift around the room.  Keeping doors closed then opening them to let the air breeze though although others leave the door open the whole time.  It can be felt whichever way feels appropriate to you.

When doing this it would help to play some of your relaxation music and feel relaxed and comfy, call on your angels or guides to help you clear the room and ask that you want it to feel loving and ready for a new home owner.

Anything we do can be seen in the form of a ritual.  It is important that you believe and do this with all spirituality.  Call on the God of your understanding.  And also use protection around yourself as a shield to all negativity.  Prayers of accomplishing your purpose are important.

I always thought that rituals, no matter how meaningless-sounding are really means to get the Monkey-mind off our back so that the soul can concentrate on what really matters!

It is like a new mother trying to put the lovable but oh so demanding infant to sleep and THEN discovering that her self is still alive and waiting patiently for her to recognize that and love her-self!

One thing that seasalt will do if spotted by potential vendors is scare them away lol!

Try simple things that everyone uses to make you house more sellable, being super clean, fresh flowers, sunshine, lights on in darkened areas, windows open if its warm enough. Some put coffee on or bake cakes

Who gave you the advice to use salt and do a clearing? Have you been having spirit or ghost activity?  Much better for seelling a house and not leaving any telltale signs are things like citrus essential oils and bell ringing, they space clear better than sage which cleanses or salt which protects. Mirrors, silver foil, crystals all will help too.
