How do you develop this ability?, Mysticism, reading, forums, Numerology, Sun Signs, Divination

Hello all. I really made a posting called Psychic/Intutive or Coincidence? or something close to that. From the great folks that posted it seems other have experienced what I have...having feelings about things that are going to happen and then do. Taking one wonderful person's advice, I want to learn to develop...deal with this better. Can anyone provide insight on reading material, advice, etc? How to better read my feelings/signs? Your insight and advice is much appreciated! Thank you!!!

One way to start to increase your awareness.
Sit quietly (no special way, as long as you are comfy), make a fist with your left hand and leave your thumb standing up.
Grasp your thumb with your right hand and align your knuckles so they are straight up/down.
This is called 'Void'. Sit and try to calm your mind, mind calming like herding cats - very difficult if you force it.
Just relax, let your mind wander and hum quietly.
Stop when you feel like it.
You'll know when it's starting to work because you'll find feathers in the strangest places.
