Dear ST,
Please do not get me wrong. I am not anti-literature and not advising people to close their mind to reading and books. I was just cautioning people to be more choosy and discriminative against reading material that is same old same old, rehashed, rewarmed yesterday's beans. This is particularly so in technical subjects like astrology. Now on the psychic, spiritual side of things too we see a lot of 'canned' phrases cut and pasted from elsewhere, but certainly there is more room for inspired, creative writing and novel reinterpretation. In fact, perhaps that is what makes any cut and paste, rewarmed beans-like writing stand out in its dullness even more in the psychic literature, spiritual literature field ;-)
Just as astrology, divination (and all metaphysical skills) are very interesting...there is ALWAYS a time to LEARN more! With the mind so closed to literature, we would still be in the dark ages on all subjects...after all it would have been written before!
Evolution is taking an old, ancient idea and working it into the current knowledge. Open the mind and it will mean more.
BTW it is the experimenters that end up seeking the services of the experienced at some point. Fooling around with what you don't understand the ramifications of, has its resultant happenings.
