Oh no I see others views as a very good way to develop as one of the best psychic uses is being able to read and learn and take what fits with you and your way of doing it. So you could say step one is being able to work out what truly resonates with you and to be able to sort though that which will hold you back. If you can do that then your truly on the way....

Oh BTW ....I did cuddle my kiddies as you mentioned in a post...i so deeply know theyre time with me is short for they are only on loan to me to look after and soon very soon they will be independant and then choose their level of dependence from me.......:(

Thank you for your insight as well. I'm not exactly sure what you meant by wanna-be psychic. Were you referring to me? I'm not claiming to be psychic...confused, yes and trying to understand experiences I've had. I claim only to be me and am trying to make the best of whatever that is.

Have you noticed how the PARENT IDEAL, God/Goddess allows their children to unfold without too much interference, despite what religions decree!

It is actually counter-intuitive, as I see it! Becoming a psychic is about trying to move away from ordinary senses (after having experienced those, of course!). Last time I read a BOOK, I was using my five senses! YES, smart one, it WAS AN AUDIO BOOK!! And it came with a little sachet that I had to stick into the aromatherapy thingie!!

No one learns any subject from books alone...but it is the starting point. Reading about how and the whos can and does help the newby learn and grow in their own talents and skills. Practice, experience on hand, can never be replaced by reading. Just as understanding can not be gained without reading. Both in balance is the key.

Well said spiritalk, I should have said actually keeping a diary for all your notes and messages and documenting them is also a good way. When It comes down to it though the only way I learnt the most effective was to put into practise what I knew and that was to have friends and friends of friends let me give them readings. Also having an experienced person that understands these tools helps also. Actually I found its a must you need someone far more experienced to talk too, its just too confsuing and hard if you do it without help or support. I wouldnt know how to sort out my goings on in my head if I didnt have a meditation circle or good experienced trusted friend to help me out.
