Raka:  If you are astral travelling...no thanks!  It is the lowest echelon of spirit contact and contains all the low level, uneducated of spirit entities.  There is so much more when you raise your sights through worldwide techniques and methods to the more spiritual realms of spirit.

Gem:  As a medium we can and do attune to our spirit guide.  Collective information would limit the free thinking of any individual.  There is a component of collection of information that has gone before on earth.  But a collective of the free thinking spirit that it is possible to attune with, seems limited to me.  Just my thoughts of course...

Yep me too, there is no attuning at all!

Are we not using our mind to find a place?  Sorry I don't quite understand your comments of just finding yourself there?  That is a little like opening and allowing anything and anyone?

Dear Spiritalk,

How can I use my mind to find a place or entity if I don't even know what place or entity I am supposed to be looking for?  If I do not even know or are aware that a certain place exists?  I am very much a "Stranger in Paradise" when it comes to other realms and dimensions.

If I had to use my mind to attempt "connecting" or "attuning" it would be for me like dialing a random telephone number and sometimes finding a fax machine at the other end which only gives me a beep, or a recorded message, or a stranger's voice sometimes speaking in a language I don't even know or recognise.

Instead all I do is pray to Creator and explain my situation.  Then I wait in complete faith....  If there is something that I should know or see, Creator connects with me or sends a Messenger to connect with me and "fetch" me to wherever I am supposed to go.  I could liken it to someone connecting to your computer and taking over "remote control" of your screen.  That is about the best comparison I can make...and yes, I fully trust those who come to fetch me, knowing that I am a fragile human vessel and that my fate whatever it may be is and remains in the hands of Creator.  Nothing but nothing can happen to me unless He wills it, therefore I know that His servants MUST obey His will.  I have nothing to fear.

My mind is still fully functioning and alert in this dimension, but I have the sense that my Spirit is somewhere else (where I have been taken) and it "opens in a new screen" in my mind in order that I can be there and here at the same time.  

I do believe it happens to most people when they are dreaming.  

When you are dreaming where are you?  In your dream or in your bed?  

I just seem to be having dreams while wide awake...  Hence my teachers called me a Dreamer....

This is oversimplified for the sake of explanation, but it is the best I can do with the limited possibilities of human communication.
