I am so glad I asked you, because I have asked other psychic mediums before and they have never had this problem. It was also confirmed to me by a clairvoyant medium who I saw for a reading   .
I have been developing slowly for 5 yrs now and I mainly have the gift of just knowing, and of sight, but I have asked spirit to let me hear them and give me there messages but I never got a word, apart from hearing my name called etc. I have trouble finding a job these last 18 months and It was confirmed to me yesterday that I wont find a job lol because I am meant to do spirit work (makes sense now) and my ears are hurting because they are trying to make me listen, but your right. I asked out loud and wrote it down in a prayer to my guides to please "no need for the shooting pains because I dont want to read anyone while im suffering", your lucky you only had an itchy feeling in yr ear, mine was like the worst earache imaginable several times a week. I think my throat chakra was unbalanced so I did a meditation this morning and I'm hoping that will work and help. I will keep you posted if I hear spirit (i hope so).
