Dear Tyrinaniel: I like your kind of light sense of humour! I Really do, since it seems to come from the spirit (N.B.: Here the 'number' as in english grammar becomes significant!)!
Seriously though, perhaps we <all> must begin to see it all as a continuum, birth, life, death; birth, life, death; -- (punctuations are significant!!)
There is too much "seeking" and 'avoiding' that had been strewn across the history of spirituality, in my opinion.
Leave aside spirit and mortal, even the student and teacher, in contrast to what has been dogmatized by many religions and spiritual paths -- are not seeking one another, as I see it.
To put this out of the mystic mumbo-jumbo jargon, this is how I will simply state:
Have you ever experienced or heard of a situation where a lost soul finds another who says, "I was going that very way -- please come along with me!"
The "teacher" was going that way anyway!
WHAT is important, in my opinion, is THAT which made sure that the two met at a critical moment and helped each other and made each other accomplished and at the same time to feel loved and simply to KNOW LOVE!
Those two ARE what I would call, SOUL-MATES!
<I know, CRITICS may quip, "WRONG THREAD!" but I also KNOW that the right people are reading! And isn't that what it is ALL about?
