Hi Vishwas you sound like me.

I have always had bad thoughts of things around me going wrong, and even worse dreams.

I was always obsessive about my family and everything.  As I would see the worst things happening

to them in my thoughts and dreams.

I found a way to clear it up and make my life easy. Its simple just look up and pray.

Follow the religion of your choice and build your connection with god. And pray consistantly.

And be grateful even for the bad days that could have been worse.

And I am sure your thoughts will change and your life will be more balanced.

Hope everything goes well for you.

Kind Regards

Hi, Vishwas.

I will tell you some things that help me.

The simplest is admitting if there is something in my life that I can't handle and giving it to God. (I use the term God for want of a better word or concept, and not in a rigid theistic way.) I have found that God can and will handle anything that I can't, if I only ask Him. The only "catch" is that I have to release control and let the matter be handled His way. With experience, I have found that His way is better than my way.

So-- these thoughts and perceptions that come in-- they belong to others. You cannot control them. They're beyond your power to change. Instead, release them. Just give them to God.

Another thing that helps me is certain visualization practices in meditation, namely "grounding" and establishing a "boundary object."

In the case of grounding, you do not control or stop foreign energies. Instead, you release them into the core of the Earth using the energy of gravitation. A brief description of this and other visualization exercises can be found at this link:

thedance.com/wicca101/enbasics.htm#grounding]Basics of personal energy management.

There is a section also on "shielding." The paragraph that mentions the rose touches on what I mean by creating a boundary object. It is any object that in your own mind is an icon that stands for you and your identity. (For me, it's the first car I ever owned.) You can mentally put it out in front of you and focus on it whenever you need reminding that you are you, and they are they.

Any way you have of running your own energy will reduce your tendency to resonate with foreign vibrations.

Others have suggested physical activity. That's an excellent idea. You have to balance the spiritual with the physical. For me, that means basketball, hiking, woodworking, and boxing. Any activity you enjoy will do.

looks like you have had alot of good suggestions there.  If the worst happens and you are not coping, take everything a day at a time. If even thats too much go an hour at a time, make sure you praise yourself for coping with another hour, day week, year etc.

Bad thoughts dwell because you give them thinking space, diversion tactics are the best things to do.

when you feel a hot thought come along, get up and change what you are doing, go for a walk, read a book, phone a friend, eat a piece of fruit.  make sure you do at least 1 positive thing every day.  do not go to bed on an argument, do not over rationalise what people say to you.  please remember what Freud said, some times a cigar is just a cigar.

Hope this helps.

When you start to think something that you don't want to be thinking of .why do you not try mind control. to begin with when an unwanted thought comes into your head turn your thoughts to your breathing.Breath in and out long and deep the thought will pass as your mine quietens
How to close ur mind.
