If all abilities (psychic) were dependant on heredity we would have all died out...remember the witch hunts? They existed in many countries and wiped out all the psychic people in the guise of witches.

Colours can mean different things to each person. It is whatever purple means to her. Purple can mean spirituality to one psychic, but something else to another. I do know that I have seen to spiritualists and both have said purple is connected to psychic ability and spirituality. But I can not tell you what it means to the psychic that you saw. I would say that every baby though has a soul and it is your baby's soul that she was connecting with. Perhaps your baby is an old soul.

Hi Soul Flower,
She didnt know what it ment because she had not seen such a phenomonon before.
I think it was her first glimpse at an Indigo Child. Im impressed.
