Hi Samson, i know someone who didn't go have a certain (simple) "procedure" done because of a bad feeling she had. She put it off for three months in fact (because she could not shake that feeling) well anyway it was too late and now we have lost her.

The specialist said that if she had been in for the "procedure" 3 months before he is certain they would have been able to save her. I'm sorry for being quite so direct about this i don't want to freak you out. But i do believe that her "feeling" was her body telling her she needed help now!!! If not for yourself please do it for your family/friends...

I never used to get paps or mammography's done (when i got the appointmts in the mail i would throw them away) because my belief was that if you go looking for something you will surely get it. That was fear talking, the loss of some1 close to me and the knowledge of the grief she left behind has taught me to be more sensible.

Our intuition can work very well in all circumstances.  Sometimes we just misinterpret the message.  I agree, don't let fears hold you back.

I would like to Thank everybody for there reply, I didn't have the procedure because of being afraid, I just had a bad gut feeling about it and because of that I never went through with it, I would also like to stress that I feel fine and there is no need to worry, but if I do get the problems back I most likely will have it done.
