HAVE YOU EVER?

Have you ever wanted to be loved unconditionally
And no matter what you did, they still loved you?

Have you ever wanted to be in love with someone
Who shows you every day how much you mean to them?

Have you ever wanted to lie next to someone and be
Wrapped up in the sweetness of their love who just enjoys being with you?

Have you ever wanted to wrap your arms around someone
And tell them you love them and meant it with all your heart?

Have you ever wanted to work towards a goal with someone
And get that goal together?

Have you ever felt love so deep that no matter what was going on in the outside world
You felt safe, warm, loved and cared for with that special someone?

Have you ever tried being in love before?
Or have old wounds of being hurt in the past not healed yet?

Have you ever had problems with the one you love?

Have you ever walked away from someone who loved you?

Have you ever walked away from someone who you loved?

Have you ever been in love before?

Tell me what you think about this poem, please.  It's the first one I've ever written and I was pretty love sick when I wrote it and still am but I just know now he's not the man for me.

I can see and feel it comes from your heart MsSteno. And a what a wonderful way to pour it out by writing about it. I used to do that a lot. In fact, I used to write a lot. Then, I dont know what took over the writing and I cannot put my finger on as to what replaced it. Before I was introduced to spirituality or started practising it, my biggest love was writing - prose and poetry.
Hmmmmmm........ I wonder sometimes if I will ever finish my unfinished stories......
