I'm so tired of this useless chrade
walking about with a fake smile
hiding the me inside.

Am I so independent that I see no need?
Or is it that I feel your hate as pain?
Everything said, for no reason.

I'm so tired of this roller coaster ride.
One day it's up, one day it's down.
My stomach aches and my heart hurls.

I've become to strong to cry in front of you.
So I lock it up and cry alone.
At night when the light goes out.

I sleep like a fetus.
Wrapped in a protective bubble.
It's the one place you can't reach.

Deep inside my dreams I run.
I tell myself that I'm ok.
That I can make it work.

The truth is that I die each time.
I loose myself in this wonderland.
I never want to wake.

Cause in real life.
I'm empty.
A shell of the person I used to be.

A crying bag of loathing.
A selfless person just learning,
the meaning of love.

I hold my head in my hands.
I glance at the bedroom door.
My heart is stained with the tears I've shed.

You won't see the error.
You can't feel my pain.
Nothing will ever change.

You won't think you're wrong.
You won't see how you've hurt me.
Because I won't show you.

You'll never know.
Until the day I leave.
How much I loved you.

Because you'll be blind.
Like always.
By 'your' feelings and no one else.

What a sad day it will be for you.
Yet somehow I feel I'll hurt more.
Because you'll still be to blind to see.
That I really love you more.

Perhaps one day we can hold hands and cry together light tears of joy
the misty rain falling from our kind and gentle staring eyes will lead to the most refreshing tender embrace, the prelude of the long awaited KISS
