Leviathans Litany

With speed we eat, wake and breed,

We manipulate and plunder,

For the sake of our creed.



We wish for love but only lust,

We chant and pray,

For nothing but our void we must,



Buy, spend, materialize, succumb,

For Leviathan lives,

Large and green and far from slumb,



He wealths in the rise of casualty,

unconcious at best,

What do I say? They are the enemy.


To the love of my life

I looked upon those eyes,

And jade was turned from chest,

I saw all but future ties,

And was pulsing red in flesh.



We clasped and shook and so it began,

With little pre-concieved,

We spoke and laughed and filled our rant,

If only we were to see...



To see the essence of our meet,

Would penetrate our very souls,

To see our vows-O' dare we speak?

That we are two amongst a whole.


To those weve lost along the way

Ive lived and died,

And every shade inbetween,

Ive screamed and cried,

Just so I am seen,



Youve dug and cut,

With a shit eaten grin,

Youve shaken like a slut,

Who can never seam to win,



Weve burrowed in our misery,

In the heart of the all,

Weve made a mark on eternity,

So you could never see us fall,



To those that have known,

The road  I have treaded,

My heart is being shown,

For we have lived what all have dreaded.

Aiden, your poetry does not need a poll.

Poetry needs to be discussed not assigned a random number that is meaningless without qualification.

I removed your poll.

I removed it for many reasons, you are 16 and if people voted without saying why they liked or disliked your poetry it would crush you.  some people are horrible and would vote low without actually reading what came from your soul.

R U sure that you are only 16?  I joke.  Your poetry has a wonderful flow.  There is a lot of promise in the poetry you've shown.  Wisdom above your years.  No doubt your other writings would be descriptive as well.  I was taken back by the words you've choosen to write these poems.  One smart cookie you are.    You've got soo much promise.  Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.  I hope you share more of your writings in the future.

Yeah ive been told that and i just feel like im a 24 year old stuck in this 16 year old body...talk about conflicting lol.
Well thank you again Crow and you can be sure to see more of my writing. Its all i do next to reading and drawing haha.
