Not cast in stone

Cast in destination
Choices we make affect
The arrival time

I wanted to get somewhere one evening
I would never get there that night
There are walls
On occasion one hits

You have seen that movie Jumper perhaps
Happened twice to me in one night
Not my doing
That kinda mojo I don't want

Prefer leaving it to the heavy hitters
Call them what you want
Gods of this planet, deities
Who knows
Maybe the BOSS himself
Made sure I was not where I was not supposed to be that night

In life it is not always the things we do
It's the things we don't do
