A story:
"I have seen the mountain top and so I shall tell you," a man proclaims. "It is high above the valleys and the plains. And from this place I see all below me. Some climb the cragged cliffs. Some walk up the steady path. Still others have found themselves walking in circles around the base of the mountain. It is a glorious place I have found. Who are you that you should tell me what is here when I am here. Let me show you, that you should see what I see. Share in my splendor." The man, astonished by the site below him, is in awe. He has never reached a height so glorious. Comfortable in his place, he sits on his perch giving advice to those below him, while mocking those who refuse to heed his word.
As time passes, the clouds begin to gather and rain begins to fall. The man, in his thirst looks up to drink of the rain, and there his eyes tell the story. Beyond the clouds, beyond the valleys, beyond his mountain, there lay another mountain, a mountain much higher. And so the man, with respite in his heart, climbs down the mountain to begin a new journey.

Ya it wasn't a good thing trust me. I was writing it about someone, and then the picture in my head became clear. It was me. It's not something I am happy about, but at least I can move on.
