The nails plunged deep,
into his wrist,
as the people shouted,
and shook thier fist.
They raised him up,
on that wooden cross stake,
with the sins of the world
in his wake.
Nailed to the cross,
his blood had been spilled.
God's prophecy,
was finally fullfilled.
Some people hollared,
very few cried,
as they took a spear,
and pierced his side.
In his last breath,
his life diminished;
Jesus exclaimed,
"It is finished."'
