Ravaging everything in it's mad wake
Tyrannical and devastating to all who see
Shattering lives at grave danger's stake
Destructive and hazardous speeding light
The devil's advocate in a burning spree
Crackling and feeding from rested calm
Setting the mad pyromaniacs carefree
Blistering torches of forests and farms
Where growth once birthed our genesis
Ransacking wilderness and entrusted parks
As evil configures dire's lost nemesis
Fuelled by misery in scorching grey ash
Where cowards flee their created absurdity
Destruction in masses of life’s everything
Leaving grim and black broken skeletal trees
How could it be that they feel no remorse
Where lives are lost and somehow unforsaken
By the murderer who kills from miles away
So many people in pain and so shaken
Enraged as a brethren liar, and a misery
Killers, haters and hated in all the isles
Waiting for a saviour to quell guilty’s power
Seething bad poison to quake our lives
Breaking spirits and humiliating gods
From Olympus high and plains below
In Hade’s empty caves a sentence awaits
To torture the hidden who fuel the show
Hearing the cries from the hills of Peloponese
Towns and villages in all of the mainland
Speed generates windflow left unguessed
Reaching the shores and the pebbly sand
Time escapes ahead of our terrorised blight
Such silence will be broken but when?
The lunar eclipse will reveal the lateral
And the clock will tick faster than them
As minutes escape us, hours impoverish us
What is lost is gone in only quick seconds
Grave fear stalks us and tragedy prevails
As the grim torch such secrets beckon
To capture the carbons which instil an end
And force the murderers to breathe clean
Their rotten smoke infiltrates all our paths
Until our prayers are answered in green
May the fire burning on all our candlewicks
Impressed in sand adorning our churches
Be the holy burning to end the inferno
While the army brigade continue their searches
The right and acceptable fire to our hearts
Revealing the culprits to be judged in courts
Ending the risk and the chaos to new starts
Where a historic land merges without forts
What damage is done and the lord will appeal
A brave new world in democracy’s birthplace
I send my love to my beloved heritage in Greece
Cherishing the new dream to fill all empty space
What spirits are broken will be built in faith
One day dear Demeter will fertilise the earth
As our myths were retained for centuries still
