This Concept of Time

Time did swallow my divinity, then claimed it’s own identity
This concept of time did envelop me in a cloak
Watches are like shackled chains to my wrists
Being ever so bossy always telling me what to do
and when to do it on a never ending lists
This then proceeds to encourage the concept
of the enclosed fists.
go and fight the mists
Then this concept of time spoke
“yes combat the haze
that has locked you in a constant daze.”
Hey good thing it’s just a faze
This concept of time did show me
a thousand different faces and forms
Each one did I realize
that i once claim as my home away from home
Most sacred of temples,
the vessel holder of my soul
This concept of time is an illusion
that puts us in a delusion
This concept of time has sentenced are bodies to tire,
to loose are inner fire, only then to expire
To age us into a helpless cage of rage
Lost now the inner mage that smelt of sweet sage
This concept of time robbed me
of the grand potential of my mind
Believing in, giving into the daily grind
I say to you my body you may bind
But lest you I remind
my spirit will just become even more refined
