It came to pass many frosty eves from west
The psyche of a single man to conform a test
If ancestors came from sheer cryptid and an ape
Where Christ was wounded for the astonished gape
That empty space and hole in a doubtful heart
Where Count Dracula was murdered by the shaft
And a Crucifix to dabble against his short sight
The Grim Reaper to dwell within this endless fright
And a Sasquatch as real as the science subject
Taught in school to cause the pastor to object
As evil is cursed in Harry Potter books and film
So that witchcraft is controlled in another realm
How do creaky sounds and whistling wind about
The lonely midnight clock chiming out a shout
And a Devil's escapade lurks in the empty halls
As prayers overcome the evils in the silent falls
As decadence is ridden within war and crime
Psychic riddles frame the pedantic schizoid mind
To tease and appease the goodness of all men
And burden with terror to turn against a friend
The screaming madness of fools and terrorists
Pitying nothing and building up all the extremists
Fanatical in controlling something not bad for us
Building bombs to explode a fate filled London bus
So that nightmares accumulate in travelling zones
As Christ knew that all of us cast the first stone
Judging all our brothers before we could explain
That we could not understand another person's pain
For all our neighbours are worth before the jury
We would save all of them from further injury
If only humanity was recognised with gifted eyes
The holy grail would take over the money prize
And green fields of mercy would shatter cold blood
Letting rivers of pure water to fertilise not flood
So that food would be plenty and life would change
To innocence and creativity to stop all that is strange
Turning dreams into reality and future in love magic
Where calm is alleviated by free heart without static
Moving the course for heavens and angels to succeed
To unite and allow the good clan to creed and to breed
Not to undermine God's service and his will to unite
A future in heaven where there is eternal healing light
Never challenging or burdening the journey immense
Forever living in the beauty of now without past tense
Free to be beautiful, graceful, and cherished in love
This amazing existence in a place recognised above
Without the evil darkness fortified in blind and stillness
Changing the element of growth in a green wilderness
So that all which is material is sound and astute
Experiential and eternal in grace without institute
Recognising no fear, no ridicule and no prison sentence
Allowing our earth-life to be redeemed in repentence
And our prayers to acknowledge that we are never alone
To hold us together so that there is not one throne
May the kingdom of God be open to all that is gracious
For the immortal call to be crowned in all that is precious
