*Let us begin again gently to complete this forum poem. Incidentally, the starter line (upper case) is a famous quote from Santayana and something that had stayed with me since my eyes fell upon it. It is very profound, in my opinion, and bears careful contemplation. In the setting of mysticism, occultism, divination, 'scepticism' has often been taken as the enemy because it brings up questions that are difficult to answer. From the powerful reaction to that one liner that we have seen already, let us approach it once again, though less hastily this time. Shall we, forum friends?
