This would mean that we spend almost 12-and-a-half years in abject misery in any given span of 30 years. And, then the whole process starts again with the onset of the new Saturn cycle. Even a passing glance at our own lives and of people around us will surely tell us that there really hasn’t been that much suffering!

Saturn is essentially the planet of justice. It tells you to work diligently and tirelessly, to be honest and fair, to be respectful to all elderly people, to be cautious in spending and, above all, to be steadfastly duty bound. In other words, Saturn defines righteousness. If you can rise up to the expectations, you will perhaps be rewarded more than you ever thought. However, an immoral lifestyle, a neglect of duties, laziness, etc, invite the wrath of the hard taskmaster. You then have only yourself to blame for what befalls you.

Saturn has transited from Moon-ruled Cancer to Sun ruled Leo on November 1, 2006. Right now, even though Saturn has entered Leo, it moves back to Cancer in January 2007 and resumes its position in Leo only in the month of July 2007 and stays there till September 2009. The areas represented by the sign Leo, as per your Rashi (natal moon sign), require more attention from you during this transit. It is perhaps time now to brush aside those cobwebs and streamline things to arrive at solutions to nagging problems.

In the next few paragraphs, you can view how this transit will affect you. It is a general prediction based on your Rashi placement. In case you are not aware of your Rashi, you can go through the effects mentioned at the beginning for each Rashi for the last Saturn transit, which may have affected you in the past two-and-a-half years. Any problems mentioned must have already found a solution. If not, then they will during Saturn’s retrograde transit in Leo between mid-January to mid-July 2007. As said earlier also, specific results are heavily dependent on the basic strength of the natal chart and also the running Mahadasha of the individual. All adverse predictions based on transits are considerably toned down due to the intrinsic strength of the natal chart and favorable running Mahadasha.

Sir I personally believe that Saturn is a very powerful & good planet. I like it more than Jupiter. Because Saturn tests us & Saturn gives us good or bad things based upon our Karma.
