You make a really good point there, L-C!
What we all believe is what is important to us, and it's what is
real for us. It's just that nowadays we hear about what scientists have discovered (or randomly decided!) each day on the news, and this is meant to influence our opinions about our reality.
Ultimately it's
what we believe that forms our personal reality, and this means that we can take scientific discoveries on board, or we can say, `ho-hum' to them. i.e. we have the right to pick and choose what it is we believe. Scientists are just today's explorers, after all, and
in their reality they're truth-seekers. It's just that Truth is very malleable, and can be twisted into any shape you wish it to be.
My advice is to stay true to what you believe!
