Don't do the dumb blonde thingy - it is just not attractive with your wit and charm.  So you get overlooked when you want to be seen, many around you would say you get all the attention while they remain invisible.  (There is a friend who stays around you and is jealous of your life - if they only knew! - we all carry our own challenges).  

Sometimes the 'look' you are going for has people reacting to the dumb blonde and you dont like it - see what you can change - particularly when you are interviewing for a position that requires some learning and growing. Yes, you have the skills, stop pretending you don't.

You are climbing a mountain right now - don't make it harder than it needs to be.  Accept help if needed and wanted.  And rely on the lessons life has already taught you - you are never alone but relying on our own talents is a good place to start.
