Although lost is the feeling you would apply, you are never lost.  You like the adventure of life.  If you were not into one mess or another you would feel life to be too dull.  But it is time to take charge and face the future with a little restraint and focus.  

There have been missed opportunities in jobs/career due to the spirit of adventure and feeling tied down.  But it is time to focus and see where you want to be in the future.  All play and no work makes Jack a dull boy too.  

There is a relationship waiting to happen.  Someone is waiting for you to grow up and face some of the responsibilities of life.  Don't make this statement heavy and unnecessary.  Make it the next step in your evolution.  It shows that in all stages of life there are its pleasures too.

When you say relationship, do you mean a romantic relationship, or more of a platonic or familial relationship? And is this person who is waiting for me to grow up the same the person who is in this "relationship waiting to happen?" Or are you speaking of two different people?

It would seem to me to be a problem with your life - growing into responsibility.  Having seen your age perhaps it is just a time to get the fun out of your system before settling down.
