Rhutobello - Obviously this is all about the seeker. Without those, readers would not even exist! I felt that some seekers were not treated very well and I wanted to ask for a simple clarification but now I am sorry to say I am more confused than ever. You didn't actually answer my questions though? And you more than anyone know the struggles I have had recently regarding readings and being allowed to give one or having a thread closed down by another? Let me try once more to carefully put forward my points and then I will leave things.

If we are talking only about Picture Readings then anyone can add to the thread?

If we are talking about Psychic Readings ( as per my original post in this thread)
Then I really don't know. I have often kept quiet and asked you for advice because I didn't want to cause a fuss on the board.



So will you allow this to happen in the Psychic Reading Forum too then?



Here in the Picture Reading forum it says once every six months? So I would assume that this does not mean any other forum but this one and the rules would apply to this Picture Readings only.

Welcome to Our Picture Reading Forum

These are guidelines to help you use the forum well.



1.  You can have a reading if this is your first visit to Mystic Board however some of our readers will not give readings to those who have not participated at all.  This is the readers perogative.  

2. By posting a picture here you agree to give feedback to the reader.  Feedback is very important in helping the reader to grow and learn.

3.Don't ask for multiple readings.  The readings won't really change if you keep putting different pictures up.  The maximum number of readings you should have here are about 1 every 6 months maximum.  The readers also get fed up with the same faces turning up and asking for readings,



I think that I have always been polite. But the point has been missed, Can a seeker have a reading in this Picture Forum and then one in the Psychic Forum without waiting a month? It seems to be only certain readers that uphold this perceived limit  on readings and they are in the Psychic and Tarot Reading Forums, the other reading areas are far more flexible and seem to cater for the seeker's needs far more compassionately, which is surely what you want?

So do we, as readers, have to check a seeker's history before we read for them?

Spiritalk - Too much information can be an issue that causes more problems, but there does not seem to be any consistency and there seems to be more members moderating than moderators, and this leads to confusion.

And it is this confusion and lack of consistency that sparked this thread, I feel that some seekers have been dealt with harshly and not very fairly. I don't see why the Picture Reading forum has to be counted by other forums as most of the 'readings' are brief impressions and observations and not a true reading where the seeker gives a question to be answered?

This would make it fairer to the seeker and less work checking for the reader.

In fact why not let the seeker choose? If they want more than one type of reading why not let them? Give them the responsibility?

No-one is offended and you are quite right, it is confusing - and  why shouldn't you ask for a palmistry reading? The reading is totally different to a psychic one or a picture one, I apologise though for using that as my example inthe vain hope that it might illustrate how confused some members can be and your reason is exactly why.

But you also should trust yourself more, you have some good intuition there and not long to wait to 36 too !

Well.....for the picture reading  versa Psychic Reading so was it you who brought it up, and by that made a case out of it. (in psychic)

My own feelings about all of this is....If a seeker post a request...and any reader has something to contribute to him/her...then do so!!!!!

The rule about once a month is more to protect our Readers then to protect the seeker......many times when I arrive at the morning I have seen new members post request in each and one of the Reading forums......Is this a way to treat the READERS?....if YOU believe in a Reading...then a READING need to be enough...evaluate it...let it work...and come back.

I am fully aware...and also any Reader hopefully...that if we deny any reading pointing to the 1 month  rule...then no one can prevent the seeker to move to next free reading site...next colour press..next professional reader and so on....so AGAIN the rule is to protect you the READER!

If we had no rule about it....then it would be more cruel toward the seeker, who might feel neglected, and at the same time would popular Readers have been exploited much more without any chance to give a good reason for not following it up.

I myself has only prevented people if they have asked for several readings...else I only react if a Reader react....so the confusion about it all is up to yourself....
Easy way is; Respond if you have something that bring a Reading Forward...regardless of time and place....If you have nothing to say...don't say it....because there might be one behind you that can!

Another case is it if the Seeker ask for a specific Reader, then he/she must be allowed to point out that there is a 1 month rule
