Just interested in general reading.

You have taken on a job that is making large and in charge.  You are more of a team player.  To you this means all get a chance to express.  To get this job done you will have to take the reins and just tell them to get a move on.  

You tend to wear your heart on your sleeve.  It gets knocked off and takes a beating from many people, even when they don't realize it.  There is a shyness expecting others to step up.  When they do you tend to back off.  Sometimes they have to be met half way if we want them in our life.

There seems almost a contradiction in you.  Perhaps the one aspect can open and balance the other aspect?  You need to be open more to others' needs as well as your own.  Friends first, then all things can follow.
