The soul is asleep at present.  You are protecting your inner you from pain.  This usually indicates you have recently been hurt.  

Unfortunately when we sleep, we are not awake and alert to all the opportunities for growth that are presenting themselves.  You are ignoring your future in wallowing in your past.  Take the experience, grab the value offered from it, and move into the present and future well versed in its lesson.

The universe (God) is supplying all those blossoms from the seeds you sowed of prosperity and you are asleep to their presence.  Opportunities are passing you by because of your fears.  Relax into life and let it unfold in a experiential manner.  When we experiment we are content that the lesson will have value and a purpose.  That is the protection you need - not a shut down when pain is too hard to bear.

How funny you should say that about her Spiritalk, cuz she is in the process of waking up and I just left a post about letting go of fear late last night/early this morning to be able to grow with and in psychic abilities, which she intends to enhance and work on...NICE!

Very true PetraVanilla, plus Spiritalk does have a point, I am just getting over a karmic situation of about 3 years now. I have finally managed to break the cycle. There is a difference between knowing when you will repeat a cycle or not, this time it is final. I have said that I don't think romance/relationships are for me again in this lifetime, spiritalk may be refering that too, but I am about to make a huge location and career move that I kinda knew was meant to happen but ego and emotional issues hindered me from doing it for years, but I know the time is right and I will address my fears.
