Fisk, it seems like you are trying to tell yourself who you should be and getting overwhelmed by the things that you think you aren't. By the law of attraction you want to focus on the things you want to be as if you already are, and then take good actions accordingly. Say: I AM IN THE PROCESS OF FINDING PEACE. I AM BECOMING A BETTER PERSON EVERY DAY AND WITH EVERY ACTION I TAKE. I AM CONSTANTLY IMPROVING. Those are all truths that you can easily believe. DO NOT say: I want to be a better person (you will keep wanting that, but it won't work), I don't want to be a bad person (because your mind is stuck on the "bad person" part). No negatives like "I don't want" and no "wanting". The wording is important and so is the thinking. When you find yourself thinking in the "bad" ways, stop and turn it around, re-word it! Fact is though, you cannot consistently be the person in reality that in your mind you cannot be. Find a way to harmonize who you are with who you want to be so that those things are not diametrically opposed to each other.
And on the balancing part. Just try to focus on one thing at a time and be there in the moment. Really experience it with all of your being, all of your senses. You can practice that when eating food, for example, concentrate on the taste, then the smell, then the texture, the touch, the beautiful sight, feel it's vibration and the emotions it causes you. Stop in the middle of something your doing. Smell the air, see what is happening around you, taste the gum you are chewing, feel the surface you are touching feel the vibration of the atmosphere, what kind of energy are people around you giving off?
A Reiki grounding/chakra balancing would also help you feel better, I bet...

@petra... you know what, i have this obssesive compulsive personality traits... and "the tyranny of the should" is dominating my way of thinking... so i think i must get rid of that first before continue to do everything
Yeah i know that we can't use negative words when doing affirmation (i learn it at the lecture about clinical hypnosis) that's why i choose to use just one word but it looks like it don't really work... Just like you said petra that i don't do it right... i mean i don't really experience it... and just do it mechanically (rrr... just hope that this word is right enough to describe it)
anyway... what u said to me exactly the same like what my mom's friend told me five months ago and thanks for your concern
