Unfortunately my question was locked which prevented me from responding, but I wanted to respond.

As I said below, my health issue was resolved medically, which did not affect my request for a reading -- it had several other specific questions. No one responded to my reading because of concerns about the health question, so I wondered why I was asked to go away for a few months since no reading had taken place.

I actually read (lurk) at several intuitive forums, and have for years. The others I have been to have specific health forums for asking questions of that type. Even though that may not be in the culture here, which I respect, it is perfectly acceptable on other intuitive forums I am more familiar with. If that sort of question makes people uncomfortable here, that is fine, as I said, and I would not ask that question again.

That said, I tend to feel that doctors see only a tiny part of any health issue. My mother was very sensitive and this has given me a real respect for people who can sense issues from a more holistic point of view.

I also often feel that many health issues (or any other crisis or 'get your attention' type issue) are a way of the soul trying to wave down the mind, and get it to look outside its normal boundaries. This is the type of thing that I look to help with on occasion, whether or not I was also seeing a doctor. Like many people I am not the clearest judge of what I might need to look at.

Anyhow, since I retracted my health question I was curious why I was then asked to go away for several months. I think it would be more direct to simply say "please do not post here because you asked the wrong question," if that is the issue.

I read the responce Suzisco gave you in requards to your first question.  I did not see her say to go away for a few months.  There was a try again in a few months since they do not tend to give readings for health, or other readers will not read for health requests.  The second replie pointed out that the picture forum has the rule of one reading every 6 months.  To try again for another reading after that, and reminding you that healthcare professionals should be the one to answer any health issues.  Many times I see they lock the tread to prevent someone not knowing the rules to replie with a reading, since it is one of the forum rules. Sounds like a honest misunderstanding.  I've done that more than once. lol.  Please re-read what was posted in responce.

I am aware that there are different forums out there that might give readings for health issues.  But like each home, there are different house rules we follow when we are a visitor. Out of respect.  We might not agree with all of them... . Honestly there was nothing wrong with your question, you didn't know.   I do not do readings in these forums as I am not as advanced as some.  Perhaps this is also why they wish for us to not answer health questions.  What if someone unexperienced like me gives a wrong answer?  It can happen.  I agree with your views requarding holistic health.  That sometimes they will find thing that doctors will overlook.  Have you looked into a liscensed holistic practitioner?  They are out there.  Have your medical issues been addressed?  I wish you all the best.  And please know that if ever you think someone tells you to leave the forum please send a message to the Admin.  They have that button at the top to contact them.  I am so sorry if this has caused you any hurt feelings.  Look forward to more of your posts.

I feel that there is a serious misunderstanding here.  I asked you to try again in a few months because no one was will to read for you with or without the health question.  That sometimes happens.  I asked you to try again in a few months when there may be other people willing to read for you.  It is not ideal to have the same person reiterating requests for readings that they are not getting.  

the picture forum is not the same as the other divination forums.  This forum is more for fun and detailed readings are not always given.  There is nothing to stop your from requesting a reading from tarot, astrology, vedic or psychic reading areas.

Threads are locked to stop arguments, the sticky with the guidelines is very explicit and should not require any explanation.

Please take this response in the spirit it is meant and resolve the tension you have over not having a picture reading at this moment in time.  I am sure in times to come someone will read for you.

I hope I am not stepping out of line by answering your post but I felt I had something to add.
I am a complementary therapist and I scan aura's as part of my work, but I do find that for anything health related I would only scan the aura in person. There can be far too many diversions and impurities from an online scan, they are great for enjoyment and general aura reading but to pick up subtle energy changes I really need to use my hands. That is the physical reason.
The moral reason I feel is that I want to see the real person, to be responsible I have to take a full medical history, I can sense how the client is feeling and reacting, I can be there with a tissue or a glass of water or suggest they lie down or rest or breath deeply, I can follow up and make sure they get home safely or seek medical attention, I can ring them to see how they are, they can ring me if they need support. All these things are not posible on the free mailbox reading kind of forum where I just post a reading for you to pick up whenever.
However there are lots of forums that I visit that allow any kind of reading, from any kind of picture and I personally think that is wrong. They do not protect the person asking at all. Anyone can answer and give an amateur diagnosis or say something thoughtless from a hunch or feeling that may really hurt or scare. I have seen and heard some terrible readings that have damaged the confidence and scared the client witless. So I am really pleased to have found a forum that does have rules about readings, especially under 18's, third party, health and pregnancy.
