Well, Pete, I DID ask, and I think I probably came up with nothing that will make any sense to you whatsoever--I really just don't know how to do these things at all!
The easiest thing, of course, would be to simply ask D. to tell me directly. I did that yesterday. I forget exactly what he said to make me think this, but I got the impression that you two had some things in common (I hope not, because if ever anyone was dealt a "bad hand" from the moment of birth, it was him!). Then it seemed that he started to tell me something, but someone told him not to (that's happened before). So I asked him to try to show or tell me first thing in the morning, when I tend to be a little more "open" to things.
It was a complicated night in terms of dreams (the major one of which had to do with thinking about that little "issue" we discussed

--my thinking on the subject didn't change, by the way), so it was hard to be clear on what was what this morning. At one point, though, I seemed to be seeing hands (unusual--usually it's eyes). They were, at first, holding someone's head close in a kind of embrace. Next, I thought I saw them kind of compulsively "playing" with something on a table or on some bedsheets--as someone would fiddle with Rosary beads or something. I thought it might be dough (then I thought of the "chef" thing, of course!), or those balls that people squeeze to make their hands stronger.
That's it. Again, it could have been just about anything, and I doubt that I got much, if any of it, right. Please feel free to tell me that it made no sense, as I'd like to learn if I can and I can only do that if I can know when I'm wrong as well as right!
Feeling very sheepish,
Doe (or maybe I should say, "Deerish"

)
