WHAT IS SUCCESS?

What is happiness? What is success? People say that they want success in their life. How can they achieve? What exactly they want, they do not know. In fact there is no limit of desires. After completion of one desire, second desire comes up e.g. Mr.A wants to get married with Ms.B, after marriage desire of son arises. Son’s birth develops desire of his best education, then desire moves towards his career, marriage and then his sons and so on.
People say once we get success we will be satisfied. Problem arises when they do not get success or remain unsatisfied even after getting success. How will they get satisfied? They do not fix their target. One should fix his target and then try to satisfy. Once they satisfy they should remain over there and should not shift their desire, they should remain satisfied.
Let us understand with one of the examples. We live in a house. We decorate and maintain that house till the time we live. The time we leave that house and shift to other house we do not take care of previous house. The same way our soul lives in this Body, leaves this body and shifts to another body. Now if we do not satisfy with our tenure in that body we can not live in that body for ever. The same way we know that we have to leave our body, then why to change our goal again and again. Remain stuck with one goal. Let us become content with the things available to us and not to run after for the next.
Before setting up of our target, we should clear our mind regarding spirituality and materialism. Spirituality means to think about our soul. How to purify our soul? How our soul can meet with God? What are the requirements of our soul and what would be the best food available to our soul? But on the earth, we think about materials, e.g. we should have bungalow and all other kinds of the luxury items. These materials will give us satisfaction for a moment.

Recall the day when we purchased a brand new far, we used to clean that car every day in the morning and used to check and watch every corner of that car. But after some time we forget even to clean that car from outside. Why so? The reason is that we had developed new desire that was for new model.

On the earth nothing can give us permanent satisfaction except spiritual enlightenment. We should nourish our soul. The more we feed our soul more enlightenment we get. This enlightenment will also not give us permanent satisfaction. The reason being nature is ever lasting.

Then the question arises why we choose spirituality? The simple answer is that spirituality will move with our soul and will merge with God but materials will not go with us and will depart from us the time our souls leave earth. Certainly we would like to choose that thing which we really own, and not that thing which are owned by someone, that is God/Nature and will be taken back from us.
All materials are taken back from us. We have been given time to utilize the material for some period. Let us understand by one example. We go to some hill station, stay over there for some time to utilize our vacation for three or four days. We stay in one of the finest hotel. We live luxurious life during that period but we will return to our home, rather, sweet home with memories only, we will not bring anything from that hotel. Why? The answer is very simple. We very well know that nothing belongs to us in the hotel. We show our culture and ethics. The same way, we know that when we will go back, i.e. our soul will go back and merge with God, then why should we run after for materialistic things? This is sure that we have to go back our sweet home one day.
The persons who run after for materialistic things we may call them innocent. They act as child. They run for all those things, which are shining. Every shining thing is not gold. Shining attracts, but attraction reflects in our behavior. Behavior affects our thinking and thinking shifts our target for reaching high realm,. When we loose our target we loose our control on mind and body. Then mind finally can not decide target and can not differentiate between good and bad.
Once we can not differentiate between good and bad, it means we have wasted, rather lost the opportunity. What opportunity? What opportunity we have lost? The birth as human being, with mind, which tells us what, is good or bad,. Mind is not to discuss problems, it is to think rational solutions and the root cause of that problem, the question arises for which solution are we talking about and how the problem arises?

Our mind is divided into two parts. One is conscious and other is sub-conscious. Conscious mind tells us about what we see, feel and discuss about, whereas sub-conscious mind tell us about our past, present and future. What ever we think is transmitted in the air. Thoughts remain in air and caught by someone’s sub-conscious mind. Everyone might have felt this that all of a sudden we recall someone and some thought that is in fact transmission of someone’s thought, which was received by our sub-conscious mind.
Now if we are spiritually strong enough we automatically use our sub-conscious mind and we will be able to find out why the current problem has arisen and what will be the solution for that problem. Once we start recognizing the root cause of problem and its possible solution, our life become meaningful and with no problem. The time we realize the voice our inner soul and remain normal, we can live peaceful life. We will sayu that we are successful in our life. Of course, we have to nourish our soul by good thoughts, which will lead to positive attitude with meaningful life.
We can only achieve success once we dream and try to achieve them.
