What is confidence ?

I feel that confidence is a state of absence of doubt in oneself. One has to rid oneself of all fear and believe that they can survive anything. I think it is a difficult but not an impossible state to achieve.

I think you can have confidence without having ego. In my dictionary confidence is where one is feeling he/she is able to do anything and ego relates to being arrogant about it. Therefore I believe you don't need ego to have confidence.

I think confidence is simply the state of being comfortable with who you are without having to worry too much about what others think... and i think the road to confidence is difficult for most
