I crafted a Spirit Board. I did write Ouija on it, but I think it wants to be called a Spirit Board. Basically, it looks like a Ouija board with the inclusion of "Good" "Bad" and "Why?" I noticed last night that there was white wax or chalk underlining the "Good' for  "Good Bye" but I also tried putting wax on it to make it more slick.

I am not sure how to use it. My planchette was a round magnifying glass. It didn't work because it was too heavy. I have it out on the table, perhaps I should smudge sage? I also noticed that whenever it's out I have pre-cognitive dreams. It underlined good, so it's a good spirit...I think it would be important to use it now.

I want to know what not to do. What precautions to take. I don't want to accidentally open a portal to the other-world. I have used the Parker bros board...and I didn't have anything work with it and I won't use that one.

So, anyways, I can't seem to get my hands to move or my spirit board to work. Am I not approaching this the right way? Are there rituals or magick rituals I can try that might help get me in the state of mind?

How do I make a good planchette?  Any advice, tips, experiences would be greatly beneficial to me.
