I was wondering if there are any bonafide Parapsychologists in this forum. I am a student of Parapsychology myself and was wondering if any could tell me if a person is capable of experiencing a previous life in the form of an astroflight or OBEing. I had this experience many times growing up, but as I have gotten older I only have this experience occaisionally. It always starts from a dream like state, have had dreams interrupted by the experience... Like I was sucked out through my navel, with a whooshing sensation, first I am looking at this woman, but can feel what she is feeling. Then a feeling of being sucked into her and seeing this landscape fom her point of view. I would go through the motions with her, as her, feeling and seeing, smelling and tasting as if I was her, as if I was really there. Neither was it devoid of color, in fact the grass was the most brilliant color of green I have ever seen! I could hear the ocean crashing against the cliffs that I somehow knew was there, I could smell the ocean and taste the salty seaspray in the air. But it was like having two thoughts occuring in her at the same time. I remembered something that wasn't my own memory, but knew it definately was a memory. I've never known what to think of this, have never really shared these occurences with anyone before. But the really eerie thing to me was that she looked just LIKE ME except her nose was the only difference! Before I could soak in enough of what was around me to satisfy my thirst to know what was going on, I would feel like I got hit by a bus and be looking down on myself (in whichever bed it was that I had currently been sleeping in) before being sucked back into myself by the navel. So much happening, but happens in such a short span of time. It has made a deep impression on me, especially her feelings. How deeply hurt she felt, how abandoned- The thought of hers I keep remembering: Left Behind. It keeps making me wonder who left her behind? Who were they to her that left her behind that would cause her such indescribable feelings of grief and of isolation and why would they? What were their reasons; what happened? Because it almost felt like punishment. It felt like her heart was breaking.
I know that this must have happened in the distant past  and somewhere around Ireland for I had one day happened upon an archaeology article with a picture on it. It was the gown of the Bog Maiden. The very gown (though in my experiences it was a beautiful deep forest green color with black blockwork for trim) that this woman, whom looked just like me, had been wearing. But it seemed that this rock she had been weaping at held alot of significance to her and so I wanted to find out more. I thought that maybe if I could find this rock, this megalith of hers, that I could maybe pinpoint a placeand maybe, possibly a time. So I looked at whatever pictures and articles on megaliths that I could get my hands on. I have found some megaliths that look similar to it, but none that looks exactly like it and they didn't have the celtic cross that I remembered on it. Also in my experiences it looked almost freshly carved, no major signs of corosion as the megaliths I had seen had major time corosion. I also had feelings that this woman was very prominent, for how else could she have afforded such exquisite garments that fetched a pretty penny back then.
I'm not sure what I experienced, or sure about what the message was, though I am sure that it was something important.
Does anyone out there have any thoughts?

Oh before I go any further congratulations on your studies. And have you taken it to your class?

In the other rhelm (lower levels - only experience I have) there is no 4th dimension and colours are so very much brighter, does this account for the time and aspects of the vision / dream?.  I would be exploring many possabilities including past life, calling up and talking to all relatives gone, especially those on your mothers side. Saving up for a trip to Ireland. Even simple things such as playing with a pendulum or Xtal ball. Or letting someone else have use of your hand for writing. Please be safe though. Do also ask your teacher for a meditation class on this topic/direction. They will know what to do.

From a personal point of view I have found one of my places of residence / area of my last life from a couple of centuries ago. Be prepared though as I was not looking for mine and it is extremely overpowering in all emotional and physical aspects. And this find has given me so much more understanding of things even relating to today. I literally stumbled onto mine and boy was I so glad I wasn't driving at the time.

No I didn't bring it up in class. This is really the first time I shared this experience and my teacher discusses things on a general level and has never mentioned spirit flights as part of past life memories. Nor did he ever mention that you can enter other bodies during an astral flight. Though he said that really nothing is impossible in the paranormal rhealm.
When I had seen that picture of the bog maidens gown, I felt like I had just been struck by lightning.  It was like looking at a picture of a favorite outfit of mine that I hadn't seen in years and here it is in a photo. I'm still searching through pictures of megaliths and as of yet no luck in finding one exacty like the one from my experience. I do know that I need to look at the ones that are near cliffs and the ocean though. It couldn't have been more than 6'ft tall and maybe 4 or 5'ft around. It was a celtic cross unlike any I have seen on these megaliths I've come across, but with the knotwork design inside the cross and on its edging like commonly seen. I would really like to find out who she was, what happened. If it is in fact a previous life, I believe that her experience is coloring my life now. I have had a fear of abandonment for as long as I can remember and this woman had been abandoned or left behind in some way. I had a past life reading done in class and was told I was a monk that burned at the stake for heresy in one life and another life I lived in some ancient land akin to atlantis that has too disappeared, though I can't remember the name of the place. But never has this woman been mentioned. Of course the teacher has never made the time to discuss personal experiences wth the class, only what relates to the topic of the lesson. He doesn't like to divert away from the topic at hand and that always happens, he says, when we discuss our own experiences because it distracts us from what he is trying to teach us. And the fact that it starts as a dream like state, turns into what generally seems to be astral flight or obing into what may be a past life experience. If that doesn't veer away from the subject, I don't know what would. So I chose not to bother him with it risking his patience with me. Maybe I'll ask him after class if he has the time. Could you tell me more about this other dimension you spoke of?

I took school at a childrens academy for extense of psychic abilities. I also have taken a psychic corse online and tutored by a college proffessor! In our past lives our spirits are connected and so your spirit is probably stiring inside you trying to go back to the time when this event occured. Spirits by nature, always want to finish something that has been started so I think that maybe your spirit wants to finish the event or wants to fix it! Though if you want to find out more I would try to have the vision and look at all possible places this has occured. Go there and try to find that exact spot. Then let the wind blow in your hair and ask the universe to take you back and the world will replicate exactly what happened. Note: There maybe a possibility of ecountering your own spirit leaving your body and journing. This should only happen if you get emotional and let your spirit run free. This doesn't mean that you will die, it will be more like an OBE and so this should be something to take an interest in! If I am no help I am sooooooo sorry!

Oh gosh I hope i'm right in what  i'm about to say.

Looking into past lifes can be rewarding and quenches our curiosity.  I just cant get rid of the feeling that this past life your dreaming of is one that is best left as a past life.  For you to bring up the emotions and memories from that past life is going to hold you back from fullfilling your quest in this life.  You had some painful lessons to learn then but you did that that went full circle your new life is a way to start again but I feel you may look into a past life everytime you are reborn as your so easily able to jog up bits and pieces.  
The memories and emotions where for that life not this one, I'm sorry but I dont think its in your best interest for you to re-live what happened to you.  Live this one now your on your right path as its showing you what you are able to do and achieve your guides are helping you with your destiny and showing you some of your talents, focus on that expand on them let them guide you.  Your meant for this type of work and help.   Live this life without carrying over the pain from a past.
I say this with the upmost respect and can only deliver what i hear myself if it doesnt sit right with you then its importnat you follow your desires and your gut.
