I understand what your saying... I just have this feeling that whatever happened is important for me to find out. Maybe has something to do with my lifelong dream to be an Archaeologist specializing in so-called "Fantastic History". But so much more than that, I think that whatever lesson had been learned in that life, if she did, is important to my role/path/destiny/lesson in this life. I just get this strong feeling that they are interlinked and I can't learn my lesson in this life without first learning what it was in that life. I am a believer in the 4 sephiroth, and according to my numberology charts, this is my last cycle of reincarnation before I ascend to the next level and this reincarnation has something to do with learning independance and self sufficiency as well as dependance upon others. Like knowing how to balance the two. It always makes me think of androgeny.
I can't help but feel that she was trying to tell me something but because it is such an awesome and kinda traumatic experience I didn't catch what it was I'm suppose to know. I get strong good/warm feelings when I am on the right path- always just before I discover something groundbreaking like the news article about the bogmaiden's gown being discovered that was just like the one she wore (like if it was trying to say: this is her... Dig deeper and you'll see!), and strong cold/desolate feelings when I've done something wrong or when I wander away from the path I assume should be taking (voice in my head saying No thats wrong- go back!). Don't get me wrong- I don't let this take over my life at all, but when I get a tidbit of information that I know deep down is right and sheds light on her background, I get this feeling thats so hard to explain- but is kinda like weight being lifted off my shoulders or binds/chains/restraints being broken... Like a little part of me has been granted freedom after a seeming eternity. Sometimes I get these, I don't know exactly what they are, but like flashbacks/visual impressions when I happen upon something that is without a doubt familiar yet I know I've never could possibly have heard of/seen/been to etc. before, but without a doubt, for some reason KNOW IT.
I'm wondering how I can control these visions, how to fine-tune them so I may be able to tap into them at will. Maybe if I could learn how to do this I could communicate with her.
My teacher seems to think that some of my past experiences, that at first glance seems unrelated, has everything to do with this. Some higher purpose or something which I haven't learned of yet. My teacher coined the term: there is a purpose for everything that happens and everything happens for that reason. I have searched extensively for reading material on how to tap into it and can't find anything that relates to my specific dilemma... Anyone know of something that can show me how to do this?

First of all - whenever I get the opportunity to experience something (anything) of this nature, I typically spend more time being grateful for the experience than I am trying to annalyze it. That being said, please allow me to continue and realize you must, that I may be completely wrong about your specific experience.

I have to wonder though, if perhaps this could be a future rather than past life experience. You list in detail your "beliefs" and what is most important is not what those beliefs are but, to keep things simple, that you have beliefs at all. There are so many wandering this realm who aren't aware of what their beliefs are. There are those also who cling to beliefs simply because they have to believe in something. I do not see this in you. You believe that you know some direction and that is the important part.

I wish I had a dollar for everyone who had said that according to some chart or medium they have encountered that, "this is my last cycle of reincarnation , , ,". I believe we are all (like it or not) in our final reincarnation within this vibrational level of existence. Some will call it "the last incarnation", some will call it "armagedon", and even some will refer to "the second coming". The bottom line is that we are standing upon the brink of change and those with at least some form of belief system are in fact "ready". We who join in forums of such a nature are no different. We have spent countless life times in preparation for this transition knowing that we must either embrace it or perish. We are now building and assembling the "memories" that will take us into the next realm of being. Perhaps the "monolith" in your dream is so 'un-weathered' because it is either new or yet to be made. Additionally, the "left behind" feeling that you expressed could just be your inner-self telling you that you are ready for the future, by showing you the desolation that will arise from not embracing the inevitable change that is about to occur.

In closing, embrace the dream and give thanks for it's existence as the gift to you that it is. Then, remember the Hopi Indian teaching, "All that we do now must be done in a sacred manor and in celebration - because WE are the ones that WE have been waiting for."

Peace, Love & Light in all your Journeys

I, too, have had similar dreams. However they seem to be more out of Scotland than Ireland (although I have had past-day dreams that occur in Ireland also).
Are there any Parapsychologists or Bonafide psychics/mediums in this forum?
