After the death of my step- father I brought his remaining belongings here to my home. Ever since , unusual things happen in our home, my family and I dont fear other phenomena so it has been pretty interesting, and we have become used to some of the things that happen around here.There is no negative feel to any of the things that happen. Objects move from where you just placed them, doors open on their own accord, with no wind outside. The most recent thing, is I have a watering can fountain in my kitchen, my mom and I were talking the other morning just around the corner from it and it all of a sudden stopped working.....She and I just looked at each other and I went to check the fountain,it was plugged in yet when I unplugged it and pulled the pump out of it the hose had become unattached, normally my husband has to pull the hose off with pliers because the connection is so tight between the hose adapter and the hose itself.We all just looked at each other and then fixed the pump and restarted it and its working again no problem, but stuff like that happens all the time.My step father and I were extremely close , the last two years prior to his death we spoke on the phone every day for hours at a time. When I didn't hear from him one day I knew something was horribly wrong, I tried frantically to call everyone down in Cal to check on him and then I got the call from Cal. stating that he had been found dead. I was just devastated. But to me his visits here are rather comforting. I would say we probably experience some silly thing happening around here at least once every couple of weeks or when Im up working in the early morning by myself, I hear all kinds of stuff going on, like footsteps and shuffling papers, sometimes things move a few feet from where I set them down. It has just became a normal thing around here. No worries but very intersting!

Oh it's happening here like you said..LOL I don't mind it at all.. Things always did that around me, started when I was 5 or younger... I'm older now and have no fear from them.. I have had some not so pleasant also.. Pretty scary... I know now what to do if they come around me. I protect my home and family and my self now...

Thanks for the heads up.. It's our little lights around our bar being on. and as I looked up they where off and all turned back on fast...LOL It happened to my husband yesterday, and me Saturday... We are not alone here~!! He-He~!!

You two ladies are pretty courageous about all of this.  I would be so freaked out!  And would probably be furiously scribbling a bind rune with thurisaz and othila (protection and home).  Still, that's me, and maybe the spirits of people I know that have passed on don't bother me because of that???

Oh, you guys are so lucky to have that!  I lived in homes like that (many) and it never bothered me too terribly much (except in one home that was the exception).  Since moving where I am now (about 13 years ago) I haven't had any visits from anyone.  I really miss those other 'people' visiting me all the time!

Wow interesting stories,seriously i would be sooooooooo damn scared lol,I'm on my own 5 days a week,and i freak myself right out.
I do feel things tho,see things at times,like someone is watching me,and sometimes smell nice gorgeous smells,but even that scares me,i am trying to not be scared tho,but its hard.I really do want to be able to accept all of that but put up a wall i guess.
If any of those things happend to me i would have a heart attact LOL.....
