I know how you feel Candlea.  I used to do automatic writing , tarot cards etc.  But I didn't want to give someone the wrong message and I wondered why me?  I quit for a long time but then started again.  I guess it just gets in your blood and you aren't happy without trying.  Now I just say what comes in my head and if its wrong , I still feel bad, but what if what I had to say could help someone and I didn't say it.  
  Just believe in yourself and let it flow.  What can it hurt?  You will be much happier if you quit worrying about others and just develop yourself.  You can't fail unless you let yourself feel like you did.  Whatever you do if you try, its not a failure.  Don't let life pass you by live it.
