Since I first discovered palmistry, I have been overly-concerned with the ominous signs that my lifeline exhibits. I've tried not to read too much into it. After posting on this forum and not getting a response, I figured it was a sign...that I probably didn't want to know what predictions were mapped out for me... but in the back of my mind, I am still curious as to if there are any other translations, or if I am just doomed to bad health - as far as my palm is concerned.

I have not had an easy life, especially as a kid and young adult, at least not emotionally. However, my lifeline does not seem to depict this at all. The lifeline is smooth and well-formed during these years. Although I'm not an expert as to palmistry age depictions, it seems like some where after the age of 30 I get a chain of islands and branches facing downward on the lifeline. It also splits into two, or a fork around the time the islands start forming. There are no islands on the second part of the fork, but soon after the second line of the fork descends, it breaks and reforms.

By the way, this is only my right dominant hand. My left hand has no islands or downward branches, just a large fork that remains unbroken.

Perhaps, does this mean that I have the option in life to take a healthier route, or am I just doomed regardless?

it is very difficult to give any opinion without seeing the scans of your palms.

lines on the hand reflect your thinking.if you have a strong character,probably your difficult childhood has not affected your mind radically.hence lines are normal.
