Although intrigued by palmistry my entire life, I've never felt compelled to get a reading until now. I'm going through a tough time with trying to figure things out (I'm 23) and think about the future every day. Yet I am also terrified that a reading will confirm my fears and deplete any hopes of improvement.

What are some reasons, other than satisfying deep curiosity, to get a palm reading? Do you think getting your palm read helped you in life?

One reason for me to do a palm reading is to know what dangers and pitfalls lie ahead and therefore avoid them by taking correct decisions at the right time.

I worry because the preliminary research I've done indicates that my palms do not carry very promising lines. For example, I have millions of lines criss-crossing each other everywhere. There's barely a space clear of these markings. Even my major lines of fate, health, and and heart (forgive me if I use the wrong terminology) aren't really lines so much as they are intersecting segments of smaller lines branching off of each other. On my left hand, I even have an instance of this where two small markings that make up the greater heart line actually run parallel to each other, only to be connected by a rather large vertical line that also intersects my fate line. I don't know very much about palmistry, but I don't believe these are very good signs.

You have not posted your palm prints and just without sufficient knowledge you assume you have all the wrong lines in your palm. I will show you a palm of a lady of 24 in another forum (indian palmistry forum) whose palms I refused to read and I only gave her advise on how to meditate and she writes to me regularly for advise. She used to write to me at least 3/4 times daily but now since 15 days she is well on her way to rise up in through constant meditation. There are many others palms which I have seen that may seem to have so much criss cross lines but all these go away graduallly as you realise the reality of life and try to come up. After all we all want to survive and live happily. Don't you. So what you will do even without anyone's advise to try to become happy and come up in life and you will also come up gradually. Do not expect miracles overnight.

So once you stop worrying and start thinking positively you will slowly find change in your life and keep this going throughout your life i.e. thinking positively and then you will reach the peak. Worrying takes you backwards and positivity will always take you forward.
