There was an episode of house where when a patient was about to die the cat would sleep near them. At the end o the epiaode they find out that the cats LOVE heat so they turn on other heat things and the cat goes near it or on it for sleep, like a laptop. And when a patient is abput to die he/she starts to burn up.

Try it with cats put something warm down and they'll go near ot and rest
